This model can handle floor cleaning tasks with no assistance, such as mopping, sweeping and dusting. The base station needs some extra space than other models, with 50cm either side and a total of 150cm in front.
The intelligent navigation technology of the X10 is able to detect the layout and style of your home. It stores the information in its internal memory without ever sending it to the cloud. The X10 can keep track of room layouts using iPath and AI See. It can also optimize cleaning routes to be efficient and thorough.
The X10's intelligent object recognition system also works well and allows the robot to easily recognize and avoid hazards such as power cords. It is also able to automatically clean and recharge its battery which is a nice addition. However, I found that the X10 could get stuck on some thicker rugs, crashing noisily over them and occasionally pushing its front brush into the rugs.
Overall it's a top quality robo vacuum and mop that's let down by a somewhat confusing application. Eufy Clean's application isn't as user-friendly as the iRobot App that guides you through the process of setting your robot up and teaches you how to use. It's still a great alternative but it also offers plenty of customizability for those that want to make the most out of its capabilities.
4. SwitchBot S10
The SwitchBot S10 is a full-fledged vacuum cleaner and mop robot that gives the best of both worlds to cleaning your home. Unfortunately, the S10's battery life is not as good as some of its rivals and may require the battery to recharge every so often if you have a larger house. It also sounds very loud when operating, and it may not be suitable for use in locations where quiet is desired. It is, however, an excellent value for the price. The SwitchBot S10 is one of the models that stands out from the rest because of its sleek, modern design.
5. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an upgrade from Switchbot's popular Mini robot vacuum. The latest version comes with an Anti-Tangle Rubber Brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor, and upgraded suction power that can reach up to 3000Pa to offer greater corner coverage and overall cleaning.
Using SLAM navigation and a user-friendly app that is easy to use, the K10 Plus cleans thoroughly and efficiently. The PSD sensor and rotary brush work in tandem to navigate around furniture. The four-stage process of cleaning consolidates the debris, then lifts it up and sweeps it from floors and carpets. The dust bin is self-emptying, so you don't have to worry about emptying it frequently.
The app also lets you to mark off areas of the room that you want the device to avoid like pets or power cords. This is a feature commonly found in robotic vacuums. It's helpful when certain areas of your home need more attention.
You can set the K10 Plus to return to its base station every 60 90, 75 or 60 minutes to automatically empty its dust bin. This is a significant improvement over other robots that require a return trip and manually emptied. It can save you a lot of time.
In my tests in my tests, the K10 Plus had a very good battery life. It lasted for 110 minutes on one run. This is more than the Roomba Combo from iRobot's the 127-minute run time.
The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, which makes it easy to put under furniture or tight spaces. It is wirelessly connected and supports Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri shortcuts. It also integrates with IFTTT and Samsung SmartThings. The app tracks the use of its accessories like the filter, side brushes and dust bag, letting you know when it's time to replace them.
